Advisory Board

Mission Statement:
The mission of the IASC Advisory Board is to provide input for the policies and programs for the State Association in order to maintain programs, facilitate change and coordinate activities, under the direction of School Administrators of Iowa.
The IASC Advisory Board shall:
  1. Advise the SAI Executive Director concerning activities, projects, and needs of IASC.
  2. Stimulate the study issues and concerns of students council (senate) programs.
  3. Serve as a discussion group concerning the fall and spring conferences and for problems affecting IASC.
  4. Serve as the selection committee concerning advisor of the year, administrator of the year, honor council, state officers, and Region 5 representatives to the NASC Executive Board.
  5. As individuals, serve as a resource person to local student council (senate) organizations and carry on the general business of the IASC.
